OKAY, SO.

My computer? Officially dead. It had MASSIVE FAIL and now the hard drive is fried to crispy data bits. This happened... about a month and a half ago? Which is why none of you (the 2 and a half of you who actually read my entries) have heard from me. I'm alive and okay and fine, if not going a bit bonkers from my lack of TEH NETZ, but hopefully I'll be able to get a job and buy a laptop in the next month or so, because I need my RP fix before I die from my many, many muses never shutting the hell up.

It's bad I let the voices in my head walk all over me.

I'm on a friend's PC right now; no idea how often I'll be able to mooch of her interwebs since she lives all the way across the bay from me and is actually employed (sob; I'd love to get employed somewhere).

Okay, the ceremony isn't until the 18th, but the 8th was my last day and I passed everything and had way more credits than I needed to pass so EFFYEAH PICKLES IS A GRADUATE, BITCHES. College is coming up this fall, too, hopefully. In other news, I just sent in my app for Persona 4's Silent Protagonist Souji Seta, like, ten minutes ago. I SPENT ALL NIGHT WRITING IT. ;A; I have no life, seriously guys. My final exam in Forensic Sci. starts Monday and lasts all week, I'm getting my driver's license AT LAST after much, much procrastination (years of it), and I've already picked out who my last character at Netherworld will be.

Also, Gig is godly and I would hit that like the fist of an angry god. So hard. So many times. I'd die, but damn it would be worth it.

I'm so fucking tired, seriously. But I can't get myself to sleep at a normal, sane time. And I'm stressed about school and RP and I can't help but feel suspicious and awkward about everything.

It's getting hard to avoid asking a friend of mine if he thinks I'm embarrassing, because I'm starting to think that maybe I am, but my friends are too nice to just tell me the shit I do is humiliating even though I would really like to know. God, I read into things way too much someone just shoot me, kthx.

AIM is being a doucherocket today for some mysterious reason. My buddy list shows everyone is offline but me and I know that's not the case, as I went into the Dollsyhouse chat and it was full like woah. So if it looks like I'm offline and for some odd reason someone actually wants to talk to me, just IM me anyway. Odds are, I'm on and AIM is sucking away at what's left of my lifespan.

I got detention for the first time in... ffff, six years today. For being an hour late to class, even though I wasn't actually late, I was in the office and I had a pass and everything. My Drama I teacher is just a psycho who hates our whole class because we argue with her when she acts like an immature kid and/or is generally wrong about something.

In other news, I've picked up MiniMandy, who is an undead loli from the amazing Grim Tales webcomic (she's so cute, honestly; I love her even though she talks funny), and- damn it all -a Gig muse I will never use outside crack events because I frankly suck at playing bastardly bastards like Gig. (Also, thanks, Stephen :| I blame your Gig still.) Making Archer angst with Pleinair in Infinity is unusually entertaining, and I've learned that even when they try to be nice to each other, every single conversation Laharl and Etna will ever have there will- without fail -dissolve into a heated argument and they'll just quit speaking to each other until they forget about it if they don't come up with a compromise within the first three minutes of wanting to kill each other.

I want to send Minnie to Dollsy because that's completely her environment, but she's kinda a fanon character and I don't think it would work sending her anywhere but a dressing room, sob. She's so cute and every RP needs more verbose undead loli love. Thinking about maybe apping for Grimgrimoire's Advocat in Netherworld, but damnit he is a hard muse to work with and I can't get his voice right. Will musebox him sometime in the future, and should that fail, I'll probably go with Lujei instead. Or DR. TRAN if Hustino and Ethan will let me.

Or Cube. God knows Cube needs moar love and activity. He'd be one of the only polite demons actually hanging out in the Netherworld. He'd make Beryl proud. My evil!Flonne muse wants attention, too, but I need to find a place that'll take AUs without a big ol' application because Pickles is- and always will be -a lazy good-for-nothing. :3 Or a dressing room. Infinity is tempting, but I already play over half the Disgaea cast there and it would just be a lot of muncest between her, my good!Flonne, Etna, Lamington... Yeah, she's an issue.

I think this week is just set up to make me feel like a big jerky jerkfaic.

I haven't even been on this account in, like, a week and a half, and now that I have, lo and behold some of my friends were going through some stuff and I wasn't even aware enough to offer my pointless support. Sorry a billion times over to anyone I talked right through without even realizing something had been bugging you. I'm usually better at this sort of thing, I promise.

My group in my Forensic Science class is probably a little pissed that I've put off going to Hobby Lobby or World Market or something to pick up the miniature furniture we need for our interactive display on John Wayne Gacy, and I sure didn't inspire confidence as a leader when I not only forgot to bring the flash drive with our powerpoint on it, but lied and made them think I actually worked on it and added things to keep them from being mad at me.

I haven't even started on my term paper for British Lit. and my source ladders are due tomorrow.

I argued with my mom when she was just trying to help me get my stuff in order for my fitting and we haven't spoken to each other all week.

I've pissed off pretty much all of those fun little voices in my head, and while normally I don't care and just cackle unfeelingly, I feel pretty bad this time. Not too bad, granted, but bad enough to work out a compromise with a fictional person living in my imagination.

Alright. Crazy and a jerk.

I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday. I need a weekend like burning.

I haven't posted in a while. The meme fountain is drying up, hurrah!

I've also been terribly antisocial the last, like, two weeks anyway, and I thought it was just the usual culprits: cynicism, intense hatred of the stupid, constant rain, et al. But no. After having the best damn nap ever, I know why I've wanted to avoid humanity in general for most of the month.

I HAVEN'T EFFING SLEPT.

And damn, I've missed sleep. So much. This internet thing needs to quit being so addicting so I can keep what's left of my brain from turning into one hate-filled scrambled egg. Especially considering I have to write a 3-page thesis paper on a story that's two and a half pages long with almost no decent content to write a 3-page paper on. Gaaaaaaoo, why did I have to get 'Dead Men's Path'!? I could have had 'My Oedipus Complex', 'Mark of the Beast' or 'The Doll House,' but noooo. Teacher wants me to do short as hell 'Dead Men's Path.'

THANKS. TOTALLY APPRECIATED man this paper is going to fail so hard.

On top of that, I need to do my articles for my Senior Scrapbook, buy prom tickets, figure out when they're selling yearbooks, get a dress for graduation practice, finish the millions and millions of apps I've said I'd do and finished to various degrees of finishedness, get in enough shape to run a mile and a half in under 15 minutes, and get my ass back in gear at thedollsyhouse .

RP Sexuality Meme!?

1. What gender of character do you play more of, male or female? Why?
Male, I think. Probably because there are more male characters I identify with than female ones.

2. Is this different or the same as your own gender?
...Different? ~~I think.~~

3. Do you find that your gender makes it easier or more challenging to play your characters?
Harder, and I guess that makes me a masochist. I know next to nothing about the male anatomy, and that gives me the most trouble- especially if a character gets into a relationship.

4. What sexuality / gender identity do your characters have?
For the most part, they're straight, but I have a large handful of bisexual characters and maybe a few homosexual, pansexual, and asexual ones. I don't discriminate, damnit. :3

5. How does your character's sexuality and gender identity define / affect their personality?
I try not to let it affect or define them too much, unless they're supposed to be that way.

6. Do you tend to predominantly play characters of a certain sexuality? If so, why?
I don't think I intentionally play any specific sexuality more than another.

7. To what extent do you write / play your character's sexual or romantic life?
If there's a possibility for it, chances are, I'll be involved at least moderately writing/playing it out. I love to ship things, it's true.

There are some rare characters I don't have much enthusiasm for when it comes to getting into relationships, but if they get chemistry with someone else, I'll play with it for a while anyway.

8. How has the character's romantic life affected his character development?
I can only think of two decent examples that show noticeable change.

With Naoki, his relationship with Lyle really opened him up more. He didn't think he was worthy enough to ever confess he had problems to anyone, but when Lyle told him about how he accidentally killed his friend, he felt obligated to be honest with him in return, and what came of that was a realization that he had as much right as anyone to have problems and he had someone more than willing to listen.

Pram is another that's being changed a bit through a relationship with someone else. She's starting to break out of the stereotyped 'demons don't love' mold and gradually trying to accept her more sensitive emotions instead of pretending they're not there.

9. Do you set 'ships' or plan for your characters to be together with other characters, or do you allow their relationships to develop organically? Why?
I do ship certain couples, but I never go in with the intention of having my characters with anyone specific. I get them as much interaction as I can, and when they spark with someone else, I'll roll with that and see how far it goes.

Rare exceptions are like when someone with a common ship wants me to send one character there to go with their character with the possibility of them getting together eventually. Still, it's never a right off the bat thing. We give them time to develop a chemistry before working towards a relationship.

10. Do you change the gender identities / preferred sexualities of canon characters? Why / why not?
Only sometimes when it'd be believeable, or for acceptable lulz. ~~Etna hitting on Izuna, for example.~~

I'm going to go on a brief rant, so feel free to skip the following cut if you don't want to hear my bitching.

Okay, so. While it's no business of mine, shit like this pisses me off. If you've got something to say, or you're pissed at someone, grow the balls to own up to what you've got to say or just shut the hell up and don't say a thing. Hiding behind this Anonymous nonsense is cowardly shit, and it just shows that whatever message you've got, it's probably not worth bothering with.

NOW. Like I said- it's no business of mine, I have no idea what the cause for this is, if it's a joke or not, or anything about it, but it has reminded me of how much I hate twats who have to make snotty little comments without putting their name on it so they can't be pinned for saying it. If you really don't like someone, you need to grow a pair and say it and get over it, and quit wasting time trying to hide. It doesn't make you any better, it doesn't make whatever you're saying any less annoying or trollish, and it sure as hell doesn't solve anything. If you don't want to own up to your complaint, you have no damn right to be complaining in the first place.

I might be completely wrong about the above linkage, and I'll admit it. I have no idea what's going on with that. If it's just a joke or something- fine. I took it the wrong way and went on this rant for no reason than to hear myself type, I guess. But I've seen quite a few times where people have decided to dole out criticism and insults without owning up to it, posting this Anonymous cop-out. So, to those who think it makes them seem clever or that it releases them from the guilt of their statements, know this: You're not clever, and you're not fooling anyone. You're probably just bitter and butthurt over something, but you don't want to come out and admit it.

You're miserable cowards, and I don't pity people who pull shit like that at all.

Apparently, mine aren't completely fail. Or, so my first recent playthrough of Princess Maker 2 tells me. God, that game is so addicting. I don't know why.

But my adoptive daughter didn't turn out to be a prostitot and/or cabaret dancer, so that's points for me. She did grow up to be the Royal Jester, which was cute until a few minutes later, when she was seduced by Lucifon enough to marry him. Apparently I raised her well enough to be amazingly brilliant, artistic, popular, and generally well-loved, but not well enough to keep her from MARRYING SATAN. :|

Peaches passes out on the couch and Naoki complains angrily for hours about Entropi, the Conception, and what a dick Hikawa is before falling asleep in a drunken stupor.

Nine [Naoki] murders Two's [Superego's] best friend. What does Two [Superego] do to get back at them?
If Naoki could even kill AM... Superego puts him through every single hell she can ever come up with, trapping him like AM did in agonizing immortality and making him suffer for eternity.

Six [Friday] and One [Pacific] are in mortal danger, only one of them can survive. Does Six [Friday] save herself, or One [Pacific]?
Friday would try to save Pacific, but they'd probably both die due to general incompetence.

Two [Superego] and Three [Pram] go camping. For some reason, they forget to bring any food. What do they do?
Superego kills a bunch of little woodland animals and Pram cooks them with one of her many fire spells. That, or they realize camping was a dumb idea and go home.

Five [Peaches] is in a car crash and is critically injured. What does Nine [Naoki] do?

Oh my gosh, Castile is adorable. I love her all over again.

I wish I didn't get attached to my muses. One is about to drive me clear up the wall, down the road, and off a cliff into the ocean. She will not be quiet and settle down. I would have expected this from a Flonne-muse, really.

So I've learned some very important things this week.

Migraines are nature's way of letting me know I haven't slept for shit in almost a month.
Drill is unbearably dull when the only good marchers sit on the side and criticize about how bad everyone is.
I'm not as good at boss fights as I thought.
Chicken is still awesome.
Cherry preserves must be the most delicious thing to ever be sold in a jar.
My gender is generally more humiliating than a group of nosy tourists in New York.
I still have no idea where- be it in time or in history -Carmen Sandiago is.

It's been a fulfilling week, I'd say! Also, nothing solves a brain-swirling headache like passing out on the keyboard in the middle of writing a tag. Better than a dose of painkillers.

The first LJRP I've ever been in is ending very, very soon, too. I'm not sure how I feel about it. There's an empty hollow now because I had to quit before the end, but relief at it almost being over. Pride, too. I'm so proud it made it so far. I miss it so badly.
Good thing I've got a bunch of other awesome places to fill the gap, but nothing can completely replace the feel of the very first, you know?

Hiatuses and semi-hiatuses seem to be looming here and there, though. Now that I've got my scholarship to the Marion Military Institute (fffyeah \o/ ), I have to take the ACT and hopefully get better than a 19, plus regular exit exams are coming up in the next month or so, as well as the talent show. We're doing a drill routine with folding lawn chairs this year; should be fun, provided we don't club anyone in the face with a chair. Actually, that'd be funny, too.

I can't wait to graduate.

Because all... three of you on my FL care so much about my tacky personal life, and I can't quit jacking memes from the awesometastic el_hustino . Not that he'll probably ever see that I am; I'm too much of a puss to try friending him even though I harass one of his fabulous characters at netherworld_rpg (which is effing amazing, by the way *shameless plug*) on a near regular basis and we somehow manage to pull off actual conversations in the middle of it all. Fff, maybe one day. ~~If so, haha, I jacked your memes. :>~~

My laptop keeps making funny sounds now and again, and I wish I knew why. Hell, I'm glad it's making any sounds since the sound drivers crapped out, but it's getting annoying now. I think it's trying to talk to me, but I can't understand it! I don't speak computer. For goodness sake, I can barely speak English without suffocating on my own tongue. Although I'm a near master hand at speaking French, GO FIGURE. :|

And I got my character list up, even though it's incomplete and I keep remembering random journals I've made, used once but still have and plan on using again. I'm afraid to edit it and have more epic HTML fail like the first three times I tried to make edits. Fff, I'll just add by comment. Whatevs.

Also, editing in LJ pisses me off. I have no idea why.

OH SNAP AN ACTUAL POST

YEAH WHATEVER I don't use this thing enough and I should-- and I will! Not that I do anything even remotely interesting.

I finally made myself a musebox since they're the shit these days and my characterization sucks hard enough that I totally need one. There's nothing in there YET but when there is I totally encourage people to harass my muses into the ground. They need a workout, damnit.

I'll probably put up RP info later and start doing memes to make it look like I actually keep an active journal. FFF I'M A TERRIBLE LIAR the dates will give me away. I don't care.

I'd keep a game log of my playthrough of Makai Kingdom or Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness if I actually played the latter often enough these days to warrant it and the former didn't take me about a day to finish a whole 9-Netherworld cycle (provided I don't dick around in the Free Dungeons or spend forever grinding characters just for new ranks/classes).

I'm behind on at least a dozen tags and I should probably go do them instead of this (or playing with my musebox like I know I'm going to do instead of doing tags).

I feel lazy.

Guys, srsly. Planescape. It's awesome, and it's all sorts of dead right now.

A flash of light, a crackling of sound like lightning in the air, and suddenly you are not where you were before. The city's sky is crimson, and... people walk all about you, oblivious to your plight. Strange and wondrous creatures wander past you, all blithely ignoring your pleas for aid.

It is then that a gnarl-toothed old beggar walks up to you, grinning madly. "Oi, berk, ye be a prime, right? Aye, I can see it by the looks o' ye."

He steps closer to you, and you can smell his breath, hideous and foul.

"Then lemme be the first to welcome ya to Sigil. Aye... Th City o' Doors be where ye are now.

Hope yer ready."

The Location

Sigil is located atop the Spire in the Outer Planes. It has the shape of a torus; the city itself is located on the inner surface of the ring. There is no sky, simply an all-pervasive light that waxes and wanes to create day and night. Sigil cannot be entered or exited save via portals; although this makes it quite safe from any would-be invader, it also makes it a prison of sorts for those not possessing a portal key. Thus, many call Sigil "The Bird Cage" or "The Cage". Though Sigil is pseudo-geographically located "at the center of the planes" (where it is positioned atop the infinitely tall Spire), scholars argue that this is impossible since the planes are infinite in all dimensions, and therefore there can never truly be a center to any of them, let alone all of them; thus, Sigil is of no special importance. Curiously, from the Outlands one can see Sigil atop the supposedly infinite Spire.

Sigil contains innumerable portals: any bounded opening (a doorway, an arch, a barrel hoop, a picture frame) could possibly be a portal to another plane, or to another point in Sigil itself. Thus, the city is a paradox: it touches all planes at once, yet ultimately belongs to none; from these characteristics it draws its other name: "The City of Doors".
